I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
